CLASS DESCRIPTION
At Hoops University, students will receive individual as well as group instruction on basketball basics like shooting, dribbling, and passing.
Our kids will put their skills to the test in full-court basketball games, and they’ll have opportunities to win prizes and trophies based on their performance and participation. Hoops University is directed by Keith Davis, a former collegiate and international professional basketball player. Coach Davis brings to Hoops University a bevy of experience and his “fundamentals first” philosophy.
Hoops University’s team of coaches consists of former and current players as well as local physical education teachers. Our program gives your family an outlet that will keep your kids physically fit while engaging them in new and challenging experiences.

Bring basketball shoes, a towel, shorts, socks, sunscreen lotion, and a water bottle. We will provide basketballs and other training equipment.
Hoops University is open to boys and girls ages 7 – 14.
We place emphasis on offensive skills like passing, dribbling, footwork, triple-threat position, proper shooting form, and individual offensive skills. We also emphasize defensive skills like team defense, defensive stances, and on-the-ball defense.
We typically have one coach per 10 campers.
The groups are generally divided by age. If necessary, additional consideration will be made based on talent level. The camp director must approve all groups
The boys and girls participate in activities together. Our coaches are professionals who create parity in each group and ensure that everyone receives equal playing time and attention.

WHAT WE DO
At Hoops University Basketball, we take pride in providing comprehensive youth basketball training programs in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Our programs include basketball classes, camps, private lessons, and competitive club basketball, all designed to help young athletes master the fundamentals of the game.
